The Fattoria Nicolucci "Vigna del Generale" Romagna Sangiovese Riserva is 100% Sangiovese from vines around 90 years in age! Not only do these vines have an incredible root structure that gives them depth, the grapes themselves are quite small, with extremely concentrated juice and tannins in the skins. The wine is fermented in tank, then aged in 30 hectoliter cask for two years.
